Our innovative mindset extends to all parts of the business, and we now seek a skilled Petroleum Engineer to support our expanding portfolio of energy‑sector clients.

Role Overview
The Petroleum Engineer will work closely with our client‑partner oil and gas companies to provide technical expertise on reservoir evaluation, production optimization, and down‑hole engineering. You will act as a liaison between our technical services team and external stakeholders, ensuring that engineering solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze reservoir data, well logs, and production reports to recommend drilling, completion, and work‑over strategies.
• Conduct well‑bore simulations and pressure‑temperature calculations using industry software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, Prosper).
• Develop and review field development plans, economic models, and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Coordinate with drilling, facilities, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with Saudi Arabian oil‑and‑gas regulations and environmental standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the company.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (or related field such as Chemical/Mechanical Engineering). A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PE, IADC WellSharp) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in upstream oil and gas operations, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with reservoir‑simulation and well‑planning software (Petrel, Eclipse, Prosper, Wellview, etc.); strong command of MS Office and data‑analysis tools.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy guidelines, Saudi Aramco standards, and international best practices (e.g., API, ISO 9001).
• Analytical Ability: Strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret complex datasets and make data‑driven recommendations.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English (Arabic fluency beneficial); capable of delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences.
• Teamwork &* Leadership:* Proven ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques or unconventional resources.
• Exposure to digital oilfield technologies (IoT sensors, real‑time monitoring platforms).
• Professional affiliations (SPE, CIO) and ongoing participation in industry conferences.
